• Have a valid government-issued ID
• Have a valid Social Security Number or ITIN
• Have an active checking account
• Meet our creditworthiness criteria

3. Application and Approval

3.1 Application Process

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during the application process. Providing false or misleading information may result in denial or termination of services.

3.2 Credit Decision

We reserve the right to approve or deny any application at our sole discretion. Factors considered include credit history, income, employment status, and other relevant financial information.

3.3 Credit Reporting

By applying, you authorize us to obtain your credit report and verify information with credit bureaus. Your payment history may be reported to credit bureaus.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Plans

Upon approval, you will be offered payment plan options ranging from 3 to 24 months. You agree to make monthly payments according to the schedule provided.

4.2 Interest and Fees

• APR ranges from 0% to 29.99% depending on creditworthiness
• No application fee or annual fee
• Late payment fees may apply for payments more than 15 days overdue
• Returned payment fees may apply for insufficient funds
• No prepayment penalties

4.3 Automatic Payments

You authorize us to automatically debit your bank account for monthly payments. You may modify or cancel automatic payments by contacting us at least 3 business days before the scheduled payment date.

5. Use of Services

5.1 Permitted Use

ScratchPay credit may only be used for veterinary services at participating clinics. Prohibited uses include:

• Cash advances
• Non-veterinary purchases
• Fraudulent transactions
• Any illegal activities

5.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

6. Default and Collections

If you fail to make payments as agreed:

• Late fees will be assessed
• Your account may be reported to credit bureaus
• Your account may be sent to collections
• You may be responsible for collection costs and legal fees
• Your credit limit may be reduced or account closed

7. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our website. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account by paying off your balance in full and contacting us.

9. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Approval of applications
• Specific credit limits or terms
• Acceptance at all veterinary clinics

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScratchPay Vet Cash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.
